The “Les Acacias” campsite is located on the heights of the town of Altkirch, the capital of South Alsace “Le Sundgau”. Just a 10-minute walk from the historic center of the old town. Open all year round to welcome you in our rental accommodations or our caravaning sites with access to heated sanitary facilities during the winter. The Les Acacias campsite is ideally situated in a bucolic and green setting, the perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor stays. Experience the calm and friendliness of a human-sized campsite.
You’ll have access to 48 spacious sites equipped with electrical hookups. The campsite features a restaurant open all year round where you can taste the Sundgau specialty “fried carp”, a pétanque court, a children’s playground, and a ping pong table. We also offer six rental accommodations throughout the year, accommodating 2 to 7 people. Also suitable for cyclists, picnic tables, tool provision, the campsite is located on the route of the cycle route 6.

The Albizia Chalet
A 20m² chalet for 2/4 people featuring a bedroom with a large double bed 160/190, a bathroom with a 80/100 shower, sink and toilet, a dining area, a lounge area with a 140/190 convertible sofa with television, a fitted kitchen with a two-burner stove, refrigerator, oven/microwave, and an outdoor terrace with garden furniture.
The Acacias Chalet
A 20m² chalet for 2/4 people, similar to the Albizia, but also includes a private Jacuzzi on the outdoor terrace.
The Eucalyptus Chalet
A 35m² chalet for 6 people with one double bedroom 160/190, another with two single beds 80/190, and a third with two single bunk beds providing a great play area for the youngest. It also includes a bathroom with a 80/100 shower, double sinks, and separate toilet, dining and living areas with TV, a fitted kitchen with a four-burner stove, large refrigerator, oven/microwave, and an outdoor terrace with garden furniture.
The Yucca or Cactus Mobile Home
A 24m² mobile home for 4 people with a double bedroom 140/190 and a second room with two single beds 80/190. It also has a bathroom with a 80/80 shower, sink, and separate toilet, a dining area with TV, a fitted kitchen with a four-burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, and an outdoor terrace with garden furniture.
The Sequoia Mobile Home
A 39m² mobile home for 6/7 people featuring a double bedroom 140/190 with a dressing room, and two other rooms with two single beds 80/190 each. Additionally, it offers a bathroom with an 80/100 shower, sink, and separate toilet, a dining area, living room with TV and sofa bed, a fitted kitchen with a four-burner stove, large refrigerator, microwave, and an outdoor terrace with garden furniture.
Campsite services and equipment
The campsite, open all year round, is hosted by Philippe, Sandrine, and Steve.
To make the most of southern Alsace in every season (cultural and architectural visits, sports and fun activities, outdoor relaxation, Christmas market…), all our sites are equipped with a nearby electrical terminal, a drainage area for motorhomes with chemical toilets, shaded or sunny sites depending on your preferences, and sites for motorbikes in tents with picnic tables. Our sanitary facilities are heated during the winter months.
Services and facilities
The Les Acacias campsite offers, a pétanque court, a children’s playground, a traditional restaurant open all year round, occasional entertainment during the summer season, a laundry, both external and internal sanitary facilities heated in winter, fresh bread and pastries delivered every morning in the summer season, disabled access to the sanitary facilities and restaurant, and a motorhome drainage area. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
The Restaurant
Open all year round with traditional cuisine prepared by our chef Alain and his sous-chef François, the service team of Philippe, Sandrine, Michèle, and Xavier will be pleased to welcome you for a relaxing moment around one of our local specialties. Our regional and traditional cuisine is made from local and seasonal products, with a homemade touch in every dish.
